See #4150

Be careful with downloading Etcher from 3rd-party websites as apparently there are "fake" versions #3724
Official old releases of Etcher can be downloaded from https://github.com/balena-io/etcher/releases

Hi, I had no problem with this link. I simply found it by searching on Google. Otherwise, you can download the version you need here on Github too, as @lurch explains.

Thank you Matt, i checked out both links, seeing that both download sites where https went ahead and downloaded, i have now a bootable usb drive, which i have been checking out Lynux mint by running it from the stick, i am at the moment undecided if i will install for a dual boot, or a full install wiping out windows totally ,i had been thinking to do the dual boot but i read something about risk of corrupting files and im not confident or want to be trying to fix problems if it can be avoided, i will do more reading research to learn more , many thanks to you for your help,

Hi imagine496, this is good to know. I also have a bootable usb drive with Live Debian to make some change for the Home Assistant installation on my Minisforum. I have to read more because I can't access the config file with a live version of Debian.
