Although it would be good to have a local mode which spawns BEAST processes on the current machine, we should also move towards using Docker to distribute the BEAST runs (on a local Docker swarm or a cloud like AWS). A docker container is here: http://github.com/beast-dev/beast-docker but needs updating.
