Overview

The Metal Plugin for TensorFlow allows Mac Users to take advantage of the GPU.

Restrictions:

  • Only works on Apple Silicon or AMD GPUs
  • needs MacOS > 12.0
  • needs Xcode command-line tools: xcode-select --install

Particularly, Xcode might make it difficult to automated it.
