send OSC Value from custom Variable only as string

Hey, I have to send a float or integer Value from a custom Variable

via OSC-connection ... the variable or expression is allways red highlightet in the inputfield ... only as string it will work ... thanks for the solution

although I also have a red highlighted variable the message comes through OSC to my device and gets recognized

Experiencing same issue in v3.4.3. This used to work in 2.1.1
