Archive / trailing record of class announcements

Another fantastic suggestion from one of our lovely Anderson U. users:

"As I'm working, it occurs to me that I change the announcements pretty frequently, and it would be nice for there to be a place where the course keeps a record of what all I have posted there. Some students don't check as often as others, and it would be nice for them to be able to skim through the old ones to see what they have missed."

Seems reasonable, helpful, and doable, no? Perhaps just a simple "Previous announcements" link beneath the current announcement or some such?
