How to set up Status over Time insights chart

Hi all,
new to the whole github projects, but we've been using it for a full sprint now.
Since the sprint ended i want to generate a burn down graph, however if i select Time on my axis it says all tickets are still 'open'.
When i select status all my tickets are 'done'.

So i think im missing a way to 'close' tickets after they moved to done, and im wondering how i can set up a Status change over Time graph, since it seems all i can do is set Time or Status on one axis and the other will always be number of items.

Please note that these are all tickets without a repository, this might be the reason why my burndown chart is failing, but i feel like tickets without a repo linked should also be able to be tracked by this. (and yes i've seen some discussions following the draft label which triggers this suspicion)
