Current Projects

We are focused on internal improvements and refactors including work to support the release of the data table components and updated Material Design specifications.

During this time we will continue to regularly sync updates and published new versions of the angular_components package.

Hummingbird is not replacing this. Google has too much invested in launched applications which are business critical to Google. This isn't going away anytime soon.

We have stopped publishing our roadmap though. We are very Google focused at the moment and doing a lot of polish around a11y, and new work around the new design language.

Is this package still being worked on? It seems like its been a while since we have had an update?

Yes it is still being worked on, but we are trying to sync out updates at a less frequent pace. Syncing was starting to take a lot of engineering time so we're trying to do it less often.
