The page displays a "Loading..." message on a blank white background, and a few seconds later displays "Failed to load package list!". I can't reproduce this on iPadOS 14, so it could be something specific to the combination of macOS & Safari versions.

hi @tan75, I'm in Germany (though with locale=en-gb) and am not connected to a VPN.
I just checked with Chrome and Firefox, and I get the same error, so it looks like it isn't a Safari issue.
The console displays this, though my connection is fine:
[2021-10-04T09:27:01.475Z] @firebase/firestore:
"Firestore (8.2.2): Could not reach Cloud Firestore backend. Backend didn't respond within 10 seconds.
This typically indicates that your device does not have a healthy Internet connection at the moment. The client will operate in offline mode until it is able to successfully connect to the backend."
