Why just the Raspberry Pi 3?

Wifi Hardware support for 'Access Point Mode' is iffy. It just so happens that the 802.11 chip in the Pi 3 supports it fairly well. Most USB adapters off-the-rack don't.

Will it work with my USB Ethernet Adapter?
