Talking points:

  • Great contribution experience (natural workflow which works) - #20570
  • Great contribution docs - in progress on CoreFX wiki (RW for everyone)
  • Marking issues (or announcing work as) first-time-contributor-only vs. easy vs. up-for-grabs vs. large project (see also)
    • Idea: Ask up-for-grabs.net owners to create multiple dimensions (take ideas from firsttimersonly.com)?
      • Is it a good idea?
    • Note: We plan to remove up-for-grabs from most api-needs-work issues (they are not good for new contributors, designing new API is HARD, adding can be documented better)

I like this idea, making issues clearly will make it easier to select something that is more fitting for the user skills and experience.
