The chat API is something I quickly hacked together but it should be improved. I'm thinking of rebuilding it using https://python-poetry.org/ with a proper build process and testing.

After additional consideration it might be worth implementing something using Azure OpenAI instead. I've been reviewing this sample from Microsoft which seems like it could be a great foundation.
