Hi, we're currently trying to publish our vscode-haskell extension to open-vsx.org but we have a dependency on language-haskell, which isn't already on it. We've opened an issue on the repository but we're not sure if the authors have time to upload it themselves.
I was wondering if it is feasible to upload this extension ourselves, but what's the policy on this?

Hi! It's ok to publish the other extension yourself as long as the namespace hasn't been claimed (i.e. it is still public). An alternative is to do it via https://github.com/open-vsx/publish-extensions, which has a nightly run script to publish a list of extensions. You can add it there by proposing a PR with a change to extensions.json.

It seems the extension is already in the list, but is not built correctly: open-vsx/publish-extensions#122

Thanks, and it looks like someone has already uploaded haskell.haskell!
