Auto-confirming e-mails

Hi.

I'm using Diamantedesk from the APIs. I have a website with its own login system and would like to use diamantedesk transparently. My system has Customers and Administrators.

Upon creating a user for a Customer I'd need to auto-confirm its e-mail so that he doesn't have to receive an e-mail for validating his address since we already have validated it. Is there any way we could do that? I tried setting the field through the database but it doesn't seem to work. Anything else that I should set?
