• YOLO v2

  • Include EIPs from YOLO v1 (EIP-2315: Simple Subroutines for the EVM + EIP-2537: BLS12-381 curve operations)
  • EIP-2929: Gas cost increases for state access opcodes

• Further discussion needed for

  • EIP-2718: Typed Transaction Envelope
  • EIP-2935: Save historical block hashes in state
  • Discussion to be continued in the next meeting if they have to be considered for YOLOv2 (depends on updates in the ACD meeting this Friday)

• SSZ dependency for EIP-2718: There should not be any dependency is a general understanding.
• SSZ related discussion: No current proposal where SSZ can be introduced to the mainnet at this point. No decision/action item in the meeting.
• EIP-2972: Wrapped Legacy Transactions
  • Discussion on removing legacy transaction vs continuing to have the support
  • The present group does not see a need to eradicate the legacy transaction format in the near time horizon.
  • Discussion to be continued in the next breakout (depending on the ACD meeting)
