Missing buttons on Android 12 (Samsung S20)

Need some help, I've been a LONG-time user of Mileage and have carried it forward onto the past several new phones. I love the simplicity and no ads nature of it.

I however got a new car and wanted to add it to the app so I could toggle between two cars as I drive them and feed them fuel. The issue is my Mileage app doesn't present me an "Add Vehicle" option under the "Vehicles" button. I struggled with this before and found the button was off the bottom edge of the screen and I therefore have no means to press it. I tried adjusting my screen resolution both up and down but never got an "Add Vehicle" button to appear.

1. Where should the button appear? At the bottom of the "Vehicles" screen?
2. I also can't export mileage recorded history. The "Export" button I feel is off the screen too,,, shouldn't that too be at bottom of the "Statistics" page?

I can't remember how I addressed this before but I feel like I faced it on my last phone or car purchase. Any suggestions on how to resolve this would be welcome.
