Because the registry.access.redhat.com/redhat-openjdk-18/openjdk18-openshift S2I image has Maven 3.5.0 and Quarkus requires Maven 3.6.0+ to build.

So what's the solution? Is there going to be an update of the S2I image?

We need to open a ticket to the repository asking the image maintainers to update it (but it may depend on the Red Hat Software Collections library supporting Maven 3.6.0 first)
