How to use the news collection.

Basic collection documentation

Location

News items are placed in the "_news" directory

Format

News items can be either html or markdown formatted.

Front Matter

News items front matter should contain the following data:

key	value
title	The title of the item, will be displayed as item heading
date	dd-mm-yyyy formatted date for the items release

Sorting

News items are date sorted, meaning the newest item (with the newest "date" value) will be the displayed one. Older items are hidden by default.
