Is there a way to get this theme on the real Visual Studio? #28
Comments
Are you going to support VS 2022 maybe? It seems to have made the theme creation process easier. |
@KoB-Kirito Does Visual Studio support semantic highlighting similar to Intellij / VSCode? (i.e. the IDE would highlight the function parameter in the same color under same function scope) If not, I can't use the existing color palette and apply the same philosophy on it. |
I have no clue, sry 🤷♂️ |
I think this may help you port it to Visual Studio: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/visualstudio/extensibility/internals/vsix-color-editor?view=vs-2022 Edit: Also Check out the Theme Designer: |
@Fleischhauer @ShubhamBelwal @KoB-Kirito Would you have time to help try this theme converter? It is an official tool released in 2021 Aug! https://github.com/microsoft/theme-converter-for-vs If the result is promising, I will try to extend the support to Visual Studio. |
I did not use it on code yet, but I tried. Inline variables are just grey for example. |
