  • PTHR ID & PTN node:

GO:0036424 | L-phosphoserine phosphatase activity | IBA with P0AGB0 , O53289 , S000003440 , P78330 , locus:2027433 , PTN000000002

  • Sequences with problematic annotation (ID + gene/protein name):

https://www.pombase.org/gene/SPAC823.14

  • Type of Issue: Erroneous source or erroneous propagation, or other issue

propagation.
Ptf1 appears to be a sugar alcohol phosphatase. It's ortholog is PYP1 SGD:S000004955 rather than  S000003440 (SER2)

https://www.pombase.org/gene/SPBC3H7.07c ser2 is the pombe ortholog of https://www.pombase.org/gene/SPBC3H7.07c

  • Add the label 'high priority' if needed. Generally high priority issues affect a lot of proteins, and annotations are incorrect (as opposed to just imprecise).
