How to create team account? #2582
Comments
You can't create a team account directly from a GitHub org, but you can attach a GitHub org to an existing Gittip team account (which you can create using a Twitter account for example), see #871 (comment). |
That seems like a significant issue. That means if I use Twitter login for the organization, I can't use it for myself. It also means I have to create a useless Twitter account. |
Well, I created the useless Twitter account and it is working okay. Seems like gittip should have it's own accounts though and then other service's accounts get attached to that, rather then depending on other services to represent the primary account. |
Sorry for the confusion. You're right that setting up a team account is somewhat frictive at the moment. I've added a +1 for you to "sign up with email" (#1052), which would address the "useless Twitter account" problem. Sound right? |
Yes, thanks! |
Cool, closing here. :-) |
I want to create a team account for a Github organization. But I see no way to do so. Whenever I navigate to Sign In/Github it automatically signs me in under my personal account. What do I do?
