Email seems not to be working currently:

metadata-processing-daily-1730702100--2786229049: Cannot associate a name with uid 140052
metadata-processing-daily-1730702100--2786229049: 2024-11-04 06:35:09 Failed to get user name for uid 140052
metadata-processing-daily-1730702100--2786229049: Can't send mail: sendmail process failed with error code 1

We should consider whether we really need to be emailing at all from this -- I suspect perhaps not -- but if we do, we should make sure that email is working.
