:o some/directory opens a file picker at that directory as of #2707.
Could we extend that behavior to :sp some/directory and :vs some/directory?
Currently those commands print Is a directory (os error 21)

Oops, I realized right after posting the intent is probably to use ctrl+s/ctrl+v inside the picker instead.
It's a bit weird that :sp and :vs don't behave the same as :o, but I guess it would also be weird to open a picker and not have ctrl+s/ctrl+v work.
