Preliminary Standings as of July 14, 2017

Thanks to all the participants! So far, we have received 11 submissions from 10 unique participants.

We know that many of you are curious about how your solutions compare to the others'. Although we are not providing a live leaderboard, we can definitely test the solutions we already received, and show you how they measure against one another. Of course, there is plenty of time until the deadline, so the leaderboard can change dramatically as we receive new submissions. We'll publish more updates like this one if we keep receiving more solutions.

We are not disclosing the names of the participants until the end of the contest. You can find your submission ID in the email you received after submitting your solution.

For this test run, we chose to use the sequence of so-called magic numbers as cave seeds. The seed is what you see in the heading row of the tables below. Of course, the final test set won't contain the same seeds, so it won't make sense to hand-tune your solution to these exact caves.

Out of curiosity, we also ranked the participants by a number of other game stats. These won't be used to determine the winners.
