When a file is uploaded in a space using the Files Module there are very few options. For example the options 'Hide stream entry' or 'Public (Also visible to non-members of this space)' are not given. Is there anyway that these options could be added when the file is being uploaded for the first time?
Describe the solution you'd like
The when a file is uploaded for the first time using Files Module, that the same options are available as when editing the file.

@atdqm Please create an issue in the respective module repository. Here “CFiles”. I am moving the issue.
We can theoretically trigger the edit file modal after upload. However, this does not work if several files are uploaded at once. And it could be annoying in some usecases.

Files Module
Trigger Edit Modal after Upload
Sep 4, 2024
I think it would be understandable to the user if edit file wasn't triggered for a multiple file unload. For example if this option was greyed out.
I brought this issue up as one of my users didn't understand why their space files were always showing up in the in the dashboard and space stream. I explained how not to hide files from the dashboard and space stream. When I did this it just seemed to me that being able to hide files when uploading would be a good functionality to have.
