[Bug]: Vein Mining not working as it should

What happened?

Recently updated the mod from 1.19.2 to 1.20.1 version 1.5.0 and noticed it doesn't work mining things. I tested it alone (no other mods) on a new world and it doesn't work on there as well. Is there a setting I'm missing or is this a known issue that's being fixed?

How do you trigger this bug?

1. Make a new world.
2. Add the enchantment to the pickaxe.
3. Try mining and it only mines the one block instead of multiple blocks of the same.
