Intel® 64 and IA-32 Architectures Optimization Reference Manual Code Samples is an open source project licensed under the 0 Clause BSD License
All C code in the Intel® 64 and IA-32 Architectures Optimization Reference Manual Code Samples follows the Linux kernel Coding Style, with some exceptions. All C and C++ code is formatted using clang-format version 11 using these settings. All assembly language code follows the Intel syntax. Some of these coding conventions are enforced by the CI.
In order to get a clear contribution chain of trust we use the signed-off-by language used by the Linux kernel project.
Beside the signed-off-by footer, we expect each patch to comply with the following format:

Wrap it to 72 characters.

Each new source file in the Intel® 64 and IA-32 Architectures Optimization Reference Manual Code Samples must contain a version of the following header that uses the appropriate comment syntax for the source file:
