Description: When I try to use the short form of --encoding, -enc, it doesn't seem to be recognized.

 ipfs object get QmYwAPJzv5CZsnA625s3Xf2nemtYgPpHdWEz79ojWnPbdG -enc json
Error: Unrecognized option 'e'

You have to use --enc.

OK, then this is a smaller and easier ticket, merely fixing the documentation. I'll have a PR made ASAP.

but I can't get --encoding to work on ipfs add.

EDIT: there is no encoding flag on ipfs add ...
