Install MacOS Big Sur On Dell Inspiron 15 3583 #3
Comments
I was able to install Big Sur using the normal USB install method. As long as you are using the most recent OC from this repo it should be fine. |
Ok, how did you get it installed from macOS big sur ? |
Finaly i try with Catalina (because i already make a the hackintosh in around of May 2020, but i formated the disk for a real mac) |
What SMBIOS did you use with OpenCore ? |
MacBookAir8,1 |
ok thanks with persistence i managed to hackintosh under big sur but i have huge stability problem and the internal screen is not working. (To be precise macOS crashes on startup 9 times out of 10) do you have one or more solutions? |
I did not have that problem, so I'm gonna have to refer you to the hackintosh discord. They can help you better than I can. https://discord.gg/u8V7N5C |
Ok I will try again with the latest version of the repo I will keep you posted |
Hello, I finally decided to go back to Catalina (10.15.6). |
Hello, |
Hello, i make a MacOS big Sur Hackintosh but the integrated screen is not reconized, i use a HDMI screen to use macOS |
Hmmm, I definitely don't have those problems. The problem is that this laptop has UHD 620, which is pretty much the worst Intel graphics you can have since no real Mac actually had them. Your best bet is to play with frame buffers until it works. |
Thanks for your answer, I will try but if you don't have these problems we may have a different bios configuration, can you send me yours? |
Hello, in may, use your repo to create a MacOS Catalina Hackintosh (on dell inspiron 15 3583)
But 3 month ago i delete the macOSX of the drive (to use in a real mac)
Today i want to lake direcly the MacOS Big Sur Hackintosh.
