Arch Linux (Specifically SteamOS)

When it comes time for me to use motion tracking, it will initialize as per usual. Each and every tracking algorithm will work fine at first, but the rendering will simply stop after a bit and the seconds counter will pause as well. I've left it sitting for a while and it will not finish rendering. I have only used 1440p 60hz and 1080p 30hz videos, and none seem to have a a finshed output. But when looking at the preview of the video with the red tracking box once the rendering will pause, it will move.
Here is an example of it (Not generally what I edit, I use it to track people's movements and put with their names on them to move along with their movements for a school show - Didn't include that for their privacy)

I converted the video I was trying to apply tracking to from H.264 to MPEG-4 encoding with HandBrake and the tracking worked. I guess it is some thing with the files. Thanks for telling me that, otherwise I'd have to find that out myself. I guess I will use this as a temporary solution.
