Thank you very much for opening up this issue! I am currently a bit overwhelmed by the many requests that arrive each week, so please forgive me, if I fail to respond personally. I am still very likely to at least skim read your request and I'll probably try to fix all (real) bugs if possible and I will likely review every single PR being made (please, give me a heads up if you intent to do so) and I will try to work on popular requests (please upvote via thumbs up on the original issue) whenever possible, but trying to respond to every single issue over the last years has been kind of draining and I need to adjust my approach for this project to remain fun for me and to make any progress with actually coding new stuff. Thanks for your understanding! |

It maybe related with snapd bug The same problem happens to me and according to one of the posts on discussion above it may be related with symbolic links, which I have on my machine. On my friend's machine, that don't have symbolic links the problem doen'st occur. We both use ubuntu linux |
There are no symlinks and installed from scratch. It has been working fine for months, rather than failing on second launch. It fails when my data is synced again. Therefore must be related to data in the application. Clean install has no problems. Only way I can think to fix is to give a dev a copy of my data to identify what has corrupted or what character is messing it up etc. |
Either way, some sort of error message should occur if it's a data issue, rather than a crash. However oddly it works fine when I installed the Mac version and synced same file from google drive. |
Was still experiencing issue so removed snap and installed arch version, which started ok. Closing issue although not solved. |
Restarted machine and superproductivity won't start. Reinstalled and it opens but when I resync data from google drive it won't start again.
