I can't say if this is an isolated case or not, but I cannot seem to get Enhanced Steam to work any longer on either Firefox 52.0a Developer Edition 64-bit or 53.0a1 Nightly 64-bit. This had been occurring for a little while now (I believe it was fine before updating to 52.0), and I do not believe it related to the latest Enhanced Steam update as it already wasn't working before (or after) updating to 9.1. Even creating a new clean profile with only Enhanced Steam installed does not seem to change anything about the situation. I also installed Firefox 51.0b6 64-bit and confirmed that Enhanced Steam is still working for me on Firefox 51.

Is anyone else able to confirm (or deny) this? I don't want to spread erroneous information or anything.

It looks like Firefox changed how they handled Webextension storage in 52 and disabled it by default.

If you set webextensions.storage.sync.enabled to true in about:config, it should start working again.

I'll look to see if this is something we'll need to look for and handle in code before Firefox 52 is released to stable.

Excellent, just to confirm it's back to normal after enabling Storage Sync.

ES seems to work fine in Firefox 52 without changing this setting.
