max-downloads option

There is a --max-downloads option for juicefs mount that isn't there within the community edition. But I don't it mentioned in the enterprise edition's feature list. Is that option a major toggle for high performance read per node for juicefs? I am currently using the community edition and would like to consider purchasing the enterprise edition if that option is indeed a key to the read performance per node from the buckets.
