Non 720/1080 content is stretched to full width.

Can confirm this. MPEG-2 576i broadcast in 4:3 is stretched to 16:9.

I have installed the latest available version (0.3.17.142 ) to test tvheadend as a valid replacement for the HDHomerun App but found this issue to be present for my OTA signals.

There were some changes in exoplayer 2.8 that may be useful in resolving this issue? see 3736.
