Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
We haven't noticed issue #646 introduced by #638 due to how the CI is configured.
This kind of issue is only noticeable when the toolchain is installed, and not when used via the legacy toolchain.py ... cmd directly from the cloned repository.

Describe the solution you'd like
We should setup the CI to run on the non-legacy command, when kivy-ios is installed.
