The live streams for nhl games often start a few hours before the game, and will often show the pregame show if you're watching a local broadcast instead of a national one.

or you are having problems with default configuration?

If the latter - could you check that you have correct time set on your computer?

Also try removing all downloaded files and removing ./tmp/records.json file.

I haven't tried either option. I was looking at what was in your issue list and added a little background in case you decide to do this.

Well, current technic for rewinding to stream start (actually to official start time) works fine for me.
Official start time might explain small date difference but not "a few hours before the game".

Option mentioned here might be better but current technic works fine for me (c).

If you happen to try mentioned solutions and report back I might try to fix that. But i've never had such miscues that you mention while using this project to watch NHL for several months almost every day.
