Input field does not clear when pressing enter

Lineage 14 December patch

Expected/known behaviour:
I type my stuff in the input field and press enter and it gets added to the last and the input field is cleared for the next text.

Current behaviour:
I type my text, press enter and the text gets added to the list but the input field does not clear. pressing enter again and it will add the text again and again and again.
The only way to solve this problem is using the small check mark icon at the end of the input field.

Request:
Please change it back so the behaviour works again with the enter key. If you want to add several items you always have to reposition your finger back to the check mark icon and then get back to the virtual keyboard for the next item.
