Instagram embeds not wrapped in op-social tags

It has a bunch of images that are not Instagram embeds and then a bunch of Instagram embeds. The non-IG images show up in the Instant Article, but the Instagram posts just don't show up.

Are you working with the current version of the plugin?

Because I cannot replicate the problem. Even with the [embed] tags the code looks fine to me (on my server).

The only thing I can think of that's different with my version is the use of Thai characters, and the large number of embeds, but not sure that would cause any problems.

Is there any way I can test your version of the post with my setup (without actually making a post live?). Thanks.

ps: just confirmed with another post. This one is all Instagram embeds, and the instant article contains only text, no images

Hmmm, sounds like a plugin conflict then, huh?

Think any of these could be causing a problem?

• Social by Yoast
• NextScripts: Social Networks Auto-Poster
• WP Super Cache

I've got others running, but those are the only ones that stand out as potentially causing a problem.

I've got the Yoast Plugin and WP Super Cache running myself. The Auto Poster should not interfere with the content.

Have you had any luck identifying the issue?

Not yet ... but I haven't looked in a few days, got caught up on some other stuff. Hmmm I wonder if WPML might be causing a problem. Let me turn that off and try.

btw: do you know when advertising support will launch?

Hmmm I just tested w/o WPML and it's the same issue. The only thing that doesn't work is Instagram embeds. The posts just show up with text only, the IG embeds disappear.

Hi I just had another post come out that is a mix of instagram embeds and normal image embeds, and confirmed that the Instagram images do not show up, only the normal images. Thanks again.

hi ... i'm still trying to track this down. i thought it might be a conflict with the SiteOrigin PageBuilder plugin, but i disabled it, removed all the posts in FB and resent them ... and I still have the bug :( Just can't seem to get it to properly embed Instagram posts, they just get totally stripped from the Instant Article.

Hi ... So I've been manually converting over some posts and thought I'd show you one as an example.

Everything works perfectly. For now I'll manually fix things as I really want to launch this, but if you have any idea of why is causing the problem please let me know. Thanks!

Hi ... Just a kinda-update about this issue. For the first time I had a post with a Twitter embed and was worried that I'd encounter the same problem as with Instagram embeds, but it worked perfectly. Not sure why I'm still having problems with IG embeds, my only idea is that maybe it has to do with the fact that my IG embeds are somehow getting wrapped in

tags and that's confusing your plugin? When I manually replace the embed code with the op-embed tag, I need to delete the

tags on my end.
