"Best way to install KODI Popcorn Time is to install Repository on your KODI and install it from there..."

Could you publish a guide with detailed steps to a Kodi user can install this plugin using Kodi interface?

Thank you.

  1. Download the Repository zip file.
  2. In Kodi, go to Settings -> Add-ons -> Install from zip file.
  3. Locate the repository zip file, select it and click ok (a Markop159 Repository toast notification should pop up).
  4. While still being in Settings -> Add-ons, go to Install from repository -> Markop159 Repository -> Video add-ons -> KODI Popcorn Time
  5. Select Install.

Now you can access Popcorn Time content in the main menu in either Videos -> Video add-ons, or in Add-ons tab.

Is there some easy way to perform step 1 in Kodi?

To be honest I've started using Kodi today and I don't know if you can install zip files directly from the internet.
I'm afraid you'd have to download the repository zip file on a pc/laptop/phone (with USB capabilities), put it on a USB drive, plug it into your device and then in Kodi just browse to your usb device and install it that way.

Okay: Procedure works, but I suggest:

  1. Include or link page for these steps, to "Download" chapter in README.md
  2. Register and upload Repository.zip to official KODI repository.

This addon is using torrents to stream movies and tv shows, so it cannot be uploaded to official KODI repo.

I didn't mean PopcornTime but Repository aggregator.
Or an unofficial repositories discoverer for Kodi.
