Just installed it on my Odroid N2 with Coreelec and when opening Popcorntime i get this message.
Installed it same way, but on pc and everything works.

Is it amlogic issue or something else?

Thanks!

I noticed that it is pretty random. Same search I did a few days ago works today.

Thanks. I will test and let you guys know if that fixes my kodi on firestick. Any idea why the api links don’t get updated when they stop working by the dev? This has been going on for a long time. What happens when the corrected link also stops working? Where can we find updated links and instructions? Perhaps a feature request could be to update links from a source file/repo.

Another interesting note is why the same plugin works on a different platform and does not work on another? In my case I have Kodi 16.1 on a firestick.

Thanks again

As far as I could tell, this issue was resolved a week or two ago with 1.7.5. I think I even used popcorn time 2 days ago successfully. Just went to play a movie and the issue appears to be back though. Anyone else experiencing problems again?

Yes this issue can be closed

Sorry, my comment wasn't clear. I meant to say that this issue just came up again for me today. It seemed like it was fixed with 1.7.5 but now it's broken again.

@daniel3xxx

You are right. I just submitted a fix for that.

I'm having trouble with this but I'm new to github so I'm not surprised. I see the changes have been merged into the master, but a new version wasn't created so I can't update my existing version directly from Kodi like I usually do. I tried to download the file and ended up with a zip file called KODI-Popcorn-Time-master. I then placed this on a USB drive, plugged that into my android tv, opened Kodi, went to install from zip, and finally clicked on that zip. After doing that Kodi just says there was an error and it couldn't be installed. I'm not really sure what I'm doing wrong. Any suggestions?

Inside that file you extract the folder "plugin.video.kodipopcorntime". Then create a zip of that folder.
Must be like this plugin.video.kodipopcorntime.zip and inside the zip must be a folder with the same name

Is it possible to do this changes without a computer? All I have right now it's the Kodi App on my MiBox, I don't have access to a computer, which means I can't solve the problem. Am I right?

The mega link that i provided it has the fix. Just need to download and use "install addon from zip" in kodi.

@daniel3xxx , but will there not be a proper release with this fix? @markop159 ?
