I have about 5 of the rak 4631's without displays and haven't been able to pair over usb or serial. i think with a display you have to hook up to your phone and go into hardware settings on sideband, and go to rnode, and click enable bluetooth and start pairing. i'm hoping to order a display soon so i can test this out. would love to have a few working rnodes to play with now that gps works. |

If the device does not have a display, the only way to get the pairing PIN is to use |

found updated version of web flasher that has the read display capability. display says firmware corrupt. i think it could be flashing in windows might switch com ports during reboot, and the process can't finish properly. i'm going to try in linux soon. |

thanks. provisioning and set firmware hash helped, but i still get a failed to get bluetooth pin timeout message, and i can't see a pin on the display. it does work on an android phone over usb though, so that's progress. |

after playing around with it i managed to get bluetooth working on all 5 rak4631's. having some form of display is definitely necessary. |

For those who have a display attached, would be great to have PIN code presented on display at pairing; just like it does with Heltec today.
