Describe the improvement
In the dialog for desktop shortcut removal (Settings->Install and update preferences->[X] Ask to delete desktop shortcuts created during an install or upgrade->Manage shortcuts) there is only an option to [Reset list] if there are no detected shortcuts.
A helpful addition would be to add a shortcut to the list, either by drag-and-drop, a dialog, or a Scan for Shortcuts button. Since UniGetUI runs in the background, it can perform a periodic sweep of the desktop folder and remove icons checked as per the existing behaviour of if icon is checked it gets deleted and if unchecked it stays.
Describe how this improvement could help users
Existing installations of apps do not get added to the list for automatic shortcut removal, even if an update to the app is performed by UniGetUI. I even had to use the Uninstall then reinstall option on one app to even get the update to install and the icon was not in the list. Being able to add to the list after the fact would keep desktop clutter under control.

If you manually delete that shortcut, and then an update adds it again, UniGetUI will (or at least should) prompt you to remove that shortcut.
Could that be what you are looking for?
Nevertheless, it makes sense to add a button to manually add a shortcut.
Please confirm these before moving forward.
