Consider using Bintray.com for binary distribution. #1

Bintray.com may be a better choice than Github for binary distribution.

It's specifically designed for binary distribution, has support for APT and YUM, and provides much better download stats and feedback than Github.

See The Bintray Advantage.

This is just a suggestion and something to consider for possible future use. I've used it for a few things and it has worked well.
