Linux: Download focalboard-linux.tar.gz
Mattermost: Install or upgrade to the latest version of Mattermost to automatically get Boards included. Or update to the latest version of the plugin from the Marketplace (needs v6.0+)
Personal / Development Server: Follow the install or upgrade guide

Also, note that self-installed desktop builds store files separately from the App Store versions.
