@Neville-N once you test the pedals and confirm Bart's confirmation that they work, close this.

After three test drives the pedals still give inconsistent data. Contact has been made with Favero requesting aid in finding a solution.

Current observations when riding with the pedals connected to a bike computer (garmin edge 540):

  • Manual calibration, as recommended by Favero after mounting the pedals, results in error 0 or error 99. This holds for both calibration started from the app and from the bike computer.
  • Updating the firmware of the pedals has made no noticable changes.
  • When riding clipped into the pedals I receive a power balance [L-R] of 1-99 and the power is underestimated. It looks like the left pedal only sends very few data points.
  • When riding with regular shoes on top of the pedals, also no flats clipped in, the power balance suddenly becomes a steady 67-33, as if my left leg delivers twice the power of my right. Power data seems to be overestimated.
