Outline Feature

You could try the beta if you like.

The editor is based on the standard one in Obsidian, so it should be a much better user experience. (Though I can't recall if the outline works 🤔)

I'm hoping to release it soon, but would like a few more people testing and giving feedback. 🙂

I'm using the current beta, which I absolutely love because it allows for the markup formatting to work. The only thing I really felt like it was missing is the outline panel. It just remains empty. Since it's based off the standard Obsidian editor I wonder why it's not working.

Hmm, my best guess is it's because the outline component tries to independently read the note, and since it is encrypted it doesn't understand it.

I have come here to report this same issue.
I just started using version 2.4.0-beta.4. The Outline component is not being populated. It’s quite inconvenient as I rely on it a lot.
Perhaps there is a way to bypass this limitation, which is understandable otherwise?
I have also tried the plugin https://github.com/johansatge/obsidian-automatic-table-of-contents. When using it, which involves creating a code block in the text file that gets replaced by the plugin's content at runtime, it literally says: "Table of contents: no headings found."
Apart from that, I will keep an eye out for other issues to report. So far, everything else works pretty well! It’s great! Thank you very much for the plugin.
