<p>Tania Rosa Bindhoff’s repertoire comprises over twenty roles including Carlotta (<i>The Phantom of the Opera</i>), Mabel (<i>The Pirates of Penzance</i>),
Johanna (<i>Sweeney Todd</i>), Casilda (<i>The Gondoliers</i>), Kate Keller (<i>The Miracle Worker</i>), Giannetta (<i>L’elisir
d’amore</i>), Lady Thiang (<i>The King and I</i>), Countess Ceprano (<i>Rigoletto</i>), Dolly Levi (<i>The Matchmaker</i>),
Eulalie MacKecknie Shinn (<i>The Music Man</i>), Dolly (<i>Die Dreigroschenoper</i> in Oldenburg, Germany), and
the title role of Hansel in Humperdinckʼs <i>Hansel and Gretel</i>.<br><br>
Other appearances include Rose Lennox (<i>The Secret Garden</i>); Susanna (<i>The Conspirators</i>); the Dew
Fairy in <i>Hansel and Gretel</i> at Annapolis Opera as a part of Opera <abbr title="Anne Arundel Community College">AACC</abbr>’s Educational Outreach
Program; the soprano soloist in the Pergolesi <i>Magnificat</i>; the soprano soloist in the Fauré <i>Requiem</i>; and
the soprano soloist in the Rutter <i>Requiem</i>. Ms. Bindhoff is a member of the Annapolis Opera chorus and
has appeared in several productions, including <i>Roméo e Juliette</i>, <i>Aida</i>, <i>Rigoletto</i>, and <i>Cosi fan Tutte</i>.<br><br>
Ms. Bindhoff holds her B.S. in Music from Towson University, and attended the Hawai’i Performing Arts
Festival in 2007. Partial roles and scenes performed at <abbr title="Hawai'i Performing Arts Festival">HPAF</abbr> and during her undergraduate studies
include the Countess Almaviva (<i>Le nozze di Figaro</i>), Fiordiligi (<i>Cosi fan Tutte</i>), Papagena (<i>Die
Zauberflöte</i>), Zerlina (<i>Don Giovanni</i>), Mercedes (<i>Carmen</i>), Cherubino (<i>Le nozze di Figaro</i>), Idamante
(<i>Idomeneo</i>), and Anne (<i>A Little Night Music</i>).<br><br>
In addition to being a singer, Ms. Bindhoff is well versed in the technical side of theatre, currently in her
fifth year as Stage Manager for Opera <abbr title="Anne Arundel Community College">AACC</abbr>. Her technical credits include <i>Riders to the Sea, The Magic
Flute, Amahl and the Night Visitors, Die Fledermaus, The Mikado, The Death of the Bishop of Brindisi,
Naughty Marietta, Cavalleria Rusticana, Pagliacci, The Telephone, The Medium, Dido and Aeneas, La
Traviata, Carmen</i>, and <i>Tosca</i>. In the 2014-2015 season, Ms. Bindhoff stage managed the world premiere
of Tony Small’s operetta, <i>Qadar</i>, at the Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center under the artistic direction of
Denyce Graves. She also stage managed the U.S. premiere of Jonathan Dove’s <i>Mansfield Park</i> at
Baltimore Theatre Project in conjunction with Peabody Opera.<br><br>
Ms. Bindhoff has served as both student conductor and assistant conductor for the Towson University
Women’s Choir, the <abbr title="Anne Arundel Community College">AACC</abbr> Chamber Singers, and the <abbr title="Anne Arundel Community College">AACC</abbr> Concert Choir. In 2013, she made her
official conducting debut with <i>Little Women</i> at Miracle Players. Ms. Bindhoff cantors at St. Leo the Great
Roman Catholic Church in Baltimore. Upcoming performances in the 2015-2016 season include stage managing <i>Don Giovanni</i> with Opera <abbr title="Anne Arundel Community College">AACC</abbr>;
conducting the orchestra for <i>9 to 5: The Musical</i> with Silhouette Stages; music directing and conducting <i>Man of La Mancha</i> with
Miracle Players; and singing in the chorus of <i>Faust</i> with Annapolis Opera.</p>
