First of all. Let me just say this app is awesome. I'm running my music output to a virtual audio cable. When I select the audio device in SKQW it works great. If I quit SKQW and go back in the visualizations don't start working until I switch the audio device back and forth.

Hi,

Thanks and thanks for the report. Let me get this straight:

  1. You open SKQW and select an audio source which is not the one selected by default.
  2. You get an audio signal and SKQW reacts to it.
  3. You close the app.
  4. You re-open the app and the audio source you selected in step 1 is already selected.
  5. SKQW does not react to any audio from this source until you select another source, and then select the desired source once again.

Is that all correct?

Yes to all 5 questions :)

OK, then I know how to go about reproducing it. I've got an idea about why this might happen. Hopefully will be fixed in the next beta release.

To just give a little more detail to aid in reproducing. I'm using Voicemeeter Banana (free software) which installs two virtual audio cables. I'm using those virtual cables in my example.
