[Feature Request] Support for other services or scheduled backups??

In lieu of Trakts announcement about new limits, simkl.com is a better service than Trakt overall (wrt limits on free accounts, and importing from other services) and it would be awesome to have the Showly experience integrate into it! Is there any possibility of this happening? Or as an alternative, could we get scheduled backups or integration with any alternate services to Trakt?

I might consider this for the future.

But it's not a trivial thing especially if you would like to keep not one but multiple services in sync.

Another vote for this one for me, I would buy lifetime for this feature.
Thank you for considering it, just ditched trakt in favour of simkl since I am a fan of lifetime purchases.

Complexity of adding this notwithstanding, considering many services may continue to limit functions for profit, it makes supporting as many as possible a priority.

FWIW, I vote for Simkl support or some other tracking service. I left Trakt after their surprise feature-removal and price-doubling. While I love that Showly can save all of my information itself, I would like some way of having it backed up in The Cloud.

Alternatively, perhaps Showly could add scheduled backups/exports? Ideally to OneDrive (because it's all about me, of course), but to a local folder would be a great start.

After looking through docs I have realised that Simkl does not allow for data exports if you're a free user. This is actually insane to me and very worrying (does GDPR not apply to them??), so I would like to reiterate what some of the others have said, and maybe just use scheduled backups or integration with other services than Simkl. Thank you for considering these options!

Currently you can already import/export data in Showly independently with Backup feature (you can tap Share after export success to easily send it wherever you want).

I am currently working on bringing the same feature for iOS but the next step for this feature is as you guys suggest. Add option for automatic backup. Will probably be something like in AntennaPod app which creates backup automatically every day and keeps 5 most recent backups.

The tiny 100 items per list limit has immediately made sync not work for me any more so I'm glad to hear this problem is being addressed. Automatic backups like you've described would be a great alternative.
