Easiest to do usertesting when 1.57 goes in stable.

We did conclude the studies a few weeks ago:

  • Opening an old version of VS Code with old project open caused some confusion. Participants didn't remember installing it and not all things were set up correctly. Reset VS Code after extended time of nonuse #132167
  • VS Code's language docs didn't work well for users coming with an existing setup/project, as the content assumes starting from scratch.
  • Some participants tried to find language support for JS and CSS in extension search; which doesn't give great results. Show built-in extensions in extension search #133767
