• VS Code Version: 1.79.2 (Universal)
• OS Version: macOS Ventura 13.4

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Move the cursor before a specific snippet of code.
2. Type a keyword to bring up the suggestions window.
3. Enter any character.

The way editing has changed from the previous version is too inconvenient. Please confirm if there is a setting to replace this or if this is a bug.
